Professional Review

Donna referred a family member to me for the sale of a lakefront home in our resort area. It was difficult to establish an asking price for this property on which we could all agree due to the change in market conditions and the high expectations of the sellers. Instead of just siding with family member, as Realtors, we have all experienced in a referral situation, Donna carefully reviewed the CMA proposal and counseled her relatives to follow my recommendations as to price and preparation of the property. Throughout the listing period and the negotiation of the sale I found Donna to be helpful, realistic and positive. I believe her input was critical to achieving a successful sale and I would welcome the opportunity to work with her again.Diana Diana S. Community Involvement

I have been an active member of the Westfield School system, including the past president of the Edison Intermediate School PTSO and an officer of the executive board of the Westfield High School Marching Band Parent's Association. I have served on many committees for the Superintendent. I am also involved in the Jewish Community Center in Scotch Plains and Congregation Beth Israel.

Personal Background

I have lived in Union County most of my life. I grew up in Plainfield and left New Jersey for college. I graduated from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, FL and then returned to New Jersey after getting married. I worked in New York City as a commodity trader in the World Trade Center, but left that world in 1986 before giving birth to my twin daughters, Rebecca amp; Sarah.

Rebecca is now a Pediatrician in Riverdale, Bronx and the mom of 3 kids, Sarah in a certified land and use planner in Tampa,FL . and Marissa, the youngest sister, soon followed and is  the chef at Metta Casa in Scotch Plains. All three of my children went through the Westfield School System, from McKinley Elementary School to Edison Intermediate School and then Westfield High School. While they were in the school system, I actively participating in many activities, including the Girl Scouts, PTSO, and Marching Band Parents.

My husband, Murray, recently retired from over 30 years of working the kiosk at the Westfield Train Station. You might have seen him there in the morning serving the local community coffee, newspapers, and treats on their way to catch the train. Now he's on the other side as he commutes to NYC to visit with our grandchildren.

I love living where I work and often walk to work. That's one of the best parts of living in Westfield, its a great walking town with many places to shop, eat and hang out with friends.
